Privacy here is not a setting. It is the architecture. Prisvera is built so that owning your data is the default, not a promise you have to trust.
How it works

A key only you hold
When you set up Prisvera, a key is derived from your passphrase, on your device. It never travels anywhere.

Encrypted before it leaves
Amounts, quantities, names and notes are encrypted on your device. What travels to our servers is ciphertext.

A store that cannot read
The server keeps what it cannot open. It cannot aggregate, compute over, or mine your figures. Neither can we.

A few structural values stay readable so the product can work: public tickers and market prices, scenario names, and the values inside rule filters. Everything sensitive travels encrypted.
Calculations stay local
Every total, signal, scenario and projection is computed on your device, over data decrypted only there. There are no server-side insights mined from your financial life, because the server has nothing to mine.
What this means day to day
You unlock Prisvera with your passphrase; on your phone, Face ID or your fingerprint can stand in for it. Your data travels encrypted between web and mobile and is decrypted only where you are. Closing the app returns it to its locked state.
An honest trade-off
If you lose both your passphrase and your recovery key, we cannot restore your data. Nobody can. That is not a flaw in the design; it is the design. When you set up encryption you receive a recovery key to keep somewhere safe, and you can also download a full backup whenever you wish.
Questions
Can Prisvera employees see my figures?
No. Amounts, names and notes reach our servers already encrypted, with keys that only exist on your devices. A database administrator would see ciphertext.
What if someone accessed your servers?
They would find what we store: ciphertext. Without your passphrase or recovery key, your figures stay unreadable.
Can you reset my passphrase?
We can reset your account password, but not your encryption passphrase. Your recovery key exists for that. If both are lost, your data cannot be recovered, by anyone.
Why doesn't Prisvera connect to my bank?
A bank connection would mean our servers reading your movements before you do, which contradicts this design. You bring your data in yourself, by hand or by importing files, and it is encrypted on your device before it travels.
